Round 16 of the Freestyle Now Western Australian Skatepark Series took place at the Willetton skatepark. Willetton is a regular competition location with normally two competitions taking place each year. The weather conditions were a bit his a miss leading up to the skatepark competition and come competition day it was sunny and cloudy with chances of rain. It was agreed that the competition was to take place. The competitors were told that it might be only one run due to the rain. Once the skatepark competition got underway as normal everything went smoothly, till it rain and help up the proceedings till the park dried out. With the park dry it was back into it, until it rained once again, on this occasion it was more rain than what was really wanted. There was no way the park was going to dry out from that amount of rain so it was deemed to call it for the day. The only competitors that did not get to compete were the bmx class, so to work out their placing their names were drawn out of a hat. A big thank you to all the competitors who rolled out the rad at the Willetton skatepark competition. We would like to thank the City of Canning as well as our supporters, Colony bmxSacrifice scooters and 4 skateboard Co
Round 17 takes place at Golden Bay skatepark on the 22nd October. Be sure to check our coming events page for all the latest information.
