The Livewire Jam has been held every year since 2005 in memory of local bmx rider Chadd Walton. David Pinelli has been on the Freestyle Now reserves for a while and now due to his total awesomeness and radability he has now been place onto the full squad roster. David has the ability to 360 with style, either vertically or horizontally. He has a bike skill many wish to have. It is this skill that will make Dave a great asset to the Freestyle Now squad in either a show performance of just representing bmx and Freestyle Now in general. Below is David’s welcome edit that was filmed over an afternoon. Thankyou David for being flat out awesome and meeting the criteria to obtain a position as a Freestyle Now squad member. David’s profile page will up soon.
Freestyle Now squad member Andy Fortini has graced us with a vision delight. Filmed in and around Perth, along with some footage from his America trip early this year. Andy is dialed, and it shows. Freestyle Now is stoked to have Andy as a squad member.
In 2001 squad members Shaun Jarvis and Jason Parker began to produce a T.V. show called “Behind the Bars” which was broadcast on community television in Perth Western Australia. The show focused on the BMX scene in Perth. After the production of show 1, things got a little easier with how the show was produced. With only the experience from shows 1 and 2 to guide them in production the two guys set out to get another show set and done. This is a good example that you can do whatever you want as long as you put your mind to it. There is nothing holding you back, only you. So after 10 years it’s now time to unleash show 3 to the world via the internet. If you would like to see the other shows check out The Prelude along with Show 1 and Show 2 if you wish to catch up.
Freestyle Now will be releasing an episode every month so keep posted and enjoy the show
