Freestyle Now recently had the incredible opportunity to engage with the vibrant students of Honeywood Primary School, providing an action-packed day of skateboard, scooter, BMX, and rollerskate coaching sessions. The event aimed to empower students through confidence building, encouragement, and the thrill of learning something new while having an absolute blast! Our professional coaches were on hand to inspire and guide the participants, helping them step out of their comfort zones and explore the exciting world of action sports. With a focus on safety, our coaches taught valuable lessons about the importance of protective gear and practicing responsible riding. The event was a perfect blend of fun and learning, as students embraced new skills and discovered hidden talents. From mastering their first tricks to conquering challenging maneuvers, every moment was filled with achievement and a sense of accomplishment. But it wasn’t just about the physical skills – the coaching sessions also aimed to instill important life lessons. Through action sports, students learned about determination, perseverance, and the value of pushing their limits. The atmosphere was electric with positivity, as participants encouraged one another and celebrated each triumph.

Freestyle Now, Australia’s leading BMX stunt show team, set Port Adelaide ablaze with our mind-blowing BMX stunt show performances at Flamefest. The two-day event witnessed the awe-inspiring displays of BMX prowess from none other than their elite riders, including the phenomenal Shaun Jarvis, the dynamic Luke Tooze, Columbian BMX sensation Robin Meza, and the legendary Andrew Ahumada. As well as Freestyle Now’s awesome BMX riders, Flamefest put on a fire show drawing the crowd to witness fire breathers and performers. These fire performers played a jaw-dropping part in the stunt show as they performed fire tricks while riders flipped and jumped over them and the fire with no fear. The Flamefest event provided the ultimate canvas for Freestyle Now’s BMX stunt show, capturing the spirit of action sports entertainment. Spectators gathered to witness a spectacle that combined high-flying stunts, technical expertise, and captivating showmanship. Even when things stated to get damp from some rain the Freestyle Now show riders changed up the show to accommodate the wet conditions, nothing can stop the radness.

Shaun Jarvis, renowned for his precision and style, took the audience’s breath away with his flawless execution of jaw-dropping tricks and sensational mic skills, hyping up the crowd. Luke Tooze brought his own dynamic flair to the stage, showcasing his radical skills with gravity-defying moves. Colombian BMX rider Robin Meza contributed a unique style to the show, while BMX legend Andrew Ahumada demonstrated his unmatched expertise and fearless riding.

Flamefest was a stage where Freestyle Now’s BMX riders shone, captivating the crowd with their incredible performances. The energy and excitement were palpable as each rider pushed their limits and wowed the audience with their daring feats. Freestyle Now BMX Stunt Show Shines Through Rain at St Kilda FlameFest in Victoria

Freestyle Now, Australia’s leading BMX stunt show, brought a torrent of excitement to the St Kilda Flamefest in Victoria. The two-day event was ignited by the breathtaking performances from our professional BMX stunt riders. Leading the squad at flamefest was the remarkable Shaun Jarvis, known for his precision and style but also brought his incredible mic skills to the show and hyped up the crowd. Shaun knows how to get the crowd hyped which was proven once again at flamefest. Victorian state BMX freestyle champion Cooper Willson’s went super high and showed his exceptional riding skills, earning applause for his impressive feats like his massive 360’s. Adding an international flair to the show it was great to have Colombian BMX rider Robin Meza with his dynamic riding style and massive Indian airs. Robin also has claimed the record for 6 bar spins over the jump, in the wet, 3 onto the top of the ramp, 1 on top of the ramp and 2 dropping into the landing. Incredible skill. BMX legend Andrew Ahumada rounded out the list of performers displaying his unmatched expertise and fearless riding.

As well as Freestyle Now’s awesome BMX riders, Flamefest also hosted some great fire shows and fire cannons drawing the crowd to witness fire breathers and performers. These fire performers played a jaw-dropping part in the stunt show as they performed fire tricks while riders flipped and jumped over them and the fire with no fear. The St Kilda Flamefest, despite the challenging weather, provided the perfect canvas for Freestyle Now’s BMX stunt show. Even as the rain fell, spectators gathered to witness the spectacle. The combination of high-flying maneuvers, technical skill, and unwavering determination created a performance that captured the spirit of resilience and determination. The crowd’s engagement with the show was sensational as the louder the crowd got, the bigger the tricks were. 

 

The BMX stunt show was a testament to the passion and dedication that Freestyle Now offers. When it started to rain and the ground got soaked it didn’t stop the show! Larger tricks were limited but Freestyle Now still delivered a fantastic performance proving no matter the conditions, Freestyle Now BMX riders will always give it their all and adapt to the conditions to deliver a great show. Freestyle Now is honored to have participated in the St Kilda Flamefest, demonstrating the power of action sports to thrive in adverse conditions. Freestyle Now Inspires students at Tasmanian schools with BMX and Scooter Presentations

Freestyle Now has recently wrapped up an inspiring series of BMX and scooter presentations at several Tasmanian schools, leaving students in awe and motivated to pursue their passions. The team visited Strahan, Queenstown, Zeehan, and Rosebury, where they brought excitement and important life lessons to the young audience. The school presentations, led by the talented riders Shaun Jarvis, Matt Cerovolo, and Cooper Wilson, focused on key themes of resilience, perseverance, dedication, motivation, and inspiration. With gripping personal stories and spectacular freestyle skills on display, the riders connected with students on a profound level. During the engaging sessions, the riders shared their own experiences of facing challenges and setbacks, emphasizing the importance of resilience and the drive to never give up on their dreams. By demonstrating the power of perseverance and dedication, the Freestyle Now team instilled a sense of empowerment in the young minds, encouraging them to overcome obstacles and stay committed to their goals. The motivational presentations also shed light on the importance of finding passion and motivation in life. Shaun, Matt, and Cooper passionately spoke about how their love for BMX and scootering has been a driving force in their achievements, showcasing how having something they truly care about can lead to incredible accomplishments.

In addition to the school presentations, Freestyle Now hosted an electrifying skatepark jam at Rosebury skatepark, which brought together BMX and scooter enthusiasts from the region. The event showcased the incredible talents of the riders and allowed students to witness firsthand the results of resilience, perseverance, dedication, motivation, and inspiration in action. 

 

Shaun Jarvis had this to say about the journey “We had an amazing time sharing our passion with the students at Strahan, Mountain Heights (Queenstown), Zeehan, and Rosbury schools. It’s always rewarding to see the impact our stories and tricks have on young minds. We hope to inspire them to never stop pursuing their dreams and to find motivation in whatever they are passionate about. The entire Freestyle Now team was thrilled with the positive response they received from the schools and communities. The Kwinana skatepark recently buzzed with excitement as Freestyle Now, with the generous support of the City of Kwinana, hosted a thrilling scooter skatepark competition that brought together riders of all skill levels from the local community. Community Engagement with BMX and Mountain Bike pop up airbag Coaching Sessions

Coaching participants get to see what is possible on a bike as Freestyle Now squad member Luke Tooze backflips over some of the coaching participants at the Nedlands BMX / MTB coaching session.

Freestyle Now, in collaboration with the Westcycle, Town Team Movement and the City of Nedlands recently hosted three exciting community engagement events focused on BMX and mountain bike coaching sessions. These interactive events were aimed to bring joy, smiles, and valuable learning experiences to participants while promoting outdoor activities and skill development. The community involvement in the events was exceptional, with participants of all ages coming together to engage in fun and adventure. The vibrant atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement as participants eagerly took part in the coaching sessions facilitated by the experienced Freestyle Now coaches. The coaching sessions proved to be a fantastic opportunity to gain confidence, explore new tricks, and step out of comfort zones. Under the guidance of the skilled coaches, participants were encouraged to push their boundaries and try out new maneuvers on their BMX and mountain bikes. The pop-up airbag, along with a small ramp, provided a safe and controlled environment for participants to practice their jumping skills and master the art of getting airborne. While the focus was on fun and exploration, safety was a top priority for the coaches. Participants were educated on the importance of riding safely and were provided with valuable tips on how to prepare for different riding circumstances and areas.
