Saturday 10th April saw Capel skatepark come alive with some rad action going down. Locals and non locals came to hang out and enjoy the great day. Thanks to Stowaway distribution and beyond skate for helping out with prizes for competitors. The competitors were getting into the competition mode well with a mass amount of tricks being thrown down. Thanks to Donna from the Capel shire for taking photos all day and printing them out for the riders to take home with them, that was awesome.

Capel was the first stop of the 3500kms of radabozical action trip. A mad 10 day journey covering a vast distance within the country of Western Australia. With squad member Shaun Jarvis at the wheel and the hard core Ben Moran sitting shotgun the back seat was taken up by squad member Phillip Marshall for the first few day and then switching up with the mad Matt Reilly.

After the competition was finished Shaun fills us in with the rest of the day’s story,

Once the competition was over we headed to the Boyanup bowl with Mike Collins, Brad Beven, Ross Drummet and Nannup legend Kim Johnson for a rad session of the bowl. That place rips for sure. Highlight there was most defiantly seeing Ben Moran pull a backwards rolling decade on the deck just as Kim carves underneath him in the bowl. The timing was not planned but they must have been in secret training for that to take place.

Saturday night was spent in Bunbury at Brad’s girlfriend sister’s house. We unfortunately ventured out to a really crap pub where the DJ must have thought it was a blue light disco. Once that closed we got into this packed pub to listen to a bad covers rock band. After they had finished I started a last clap/one more chant in which the whole pub got in on, and so one more cover was done, glad to get out of there but it was fun times. Ben, Phillip and myself had to catch a taxi back to the place we were staying at as we had an early start while the others went out to party it up. So we got to the place, sorted the sleeping arrangements and got some sleep, when not long after Brad’s girlfriend sister’s comes home and she must have forgotten that three dudes were sleeping in her lounge room and started to freak out. It got sorted and a small amount of sleep was had.”
