Freestyle Now at relay for life

On Sunday the 31st October the Cancer Council’s 24 hour Relay For Life fundraising event came to a close. In the unique event teams of 10 to 15 friends, families or colleagues challenge themselves to take turns to keep a baton moving in a relay style walk or run overnight. It is an opportunity to get together with the community and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

Freestyle Now headed down to the Mandurah event, which raised over $228,000, 99% of their target, to set up the ramps for some demos and open jam sessions. It was great to be able to support a charity that has so many far reaching implications to many.

A big thank you to all that that came out to support the charity. Please click the tags if you would like to find out more information on the Relay for life  or the Cancer Council’s work.
