Over the weekend Freestyle Now headed back to Mt Isa in the far west of Queensland to host another BMX, skateboard and scooter competition. The weekend was jam packed with Saturday being a coaching jam session with a great turn out of skatepark users all keen to hit up the park and learn some new skills. Sunday was competition day with competitors all smashing out some great tricks. Some of the competitors used the skills they learnt on Saturday in their contest runs. The level of the riding in Mt Isa is increasing rapidly and it showed throughout the competition. a big thanks to Gina and Sarah at the Mt Isa PCYC for all the work they put in and to mining company Xtrata for also contributing to help make the weekend as rad as it was. Freestyle Now hopes to again return to Mt Isa to host another BMX, skateboard and scooter competition for the locals.
