Toodyay is about 85kms north east from Western Australian capital city Perth. Like all country town it has a rich history, but it is well known for the stomping grounds of the infamous bushranger Moondyne Joe who in 1861 was sent to goal for horse stealing. The Toodyay Agricultural Show is an annual event which for 2013 celebrated its 160th year. A country show always brings the regions community together and the Toodyay show was no different. With a great abundance of displays and produce the show has a great country feel. The Freestyle Now bmx stunt squad headed out to the Toodyay show to perform some bmx stunt shows. Squad members David Pinelli and Shaun Jarvis were joined with reserves squad members Laurence Bakewell and newly added Brady Thomas, to throw down some great bmx stunt shows. With a great atmosphere and good crowds the shows really went off well. It’s great when the crowds get into the shows and feed back some energy, the riders really feel it and feed off this. Check out our coming events page to see when our next bmx stunt show will be going down, make your way there to witness the radness.
