Being involved in a crazy wild sport like BMX is not always goodtimes and radness. Sometimes due to the nature of riding BMX, riders do get injured, it happens and as a rider you need to accept that at some time you will get hurt. Freestyle Now squad members Tánh Gà and David Pinelli both have recently received such injuries.
Tánh is ripping it up in Ho Chi Minh City, his home in Vietnam and recently took a heavy bail to the knee Is something like my knee got water bag inside, doctor said relax few days and check again later. 2 weeks ago I hit by pedal and ok but after 3 or 4 days my knee just swelling, for now I just picture doing tricks on new bike for later maybe I off ride a week”  Tánh will be back riding new weeks and will again be killing it for Freestyle Now, we recently hooked him up with some new Animal 4 piece bars to keep him rolling strong. Tánh is also in the middle of shooting a new video so expect to some new footage coming out of Vietnam soon.

David Pinelli is a trick slayer. He recently came back from some Freestyle Now stunt shows in Queensland and went and saw the orthopedic doctor “Hey dudes, just thought I’d give you an update on what has been going on! Back in July 2013 I competed in the fox bmx pro at rampfest in Melbourne and during my final run I landed hard on my thumb on the bars. At the time I just thought it was sprained but here I am 6 months later getting surgery for it! I just kept riding and dealt with the pain and weakness. It turns out I had fractured my thumb and torn the UCL ligament. So note to self, if it hurts… there is more than likely something wrong! Haha. Surgery on Friday then around 2-3 months till I can ride again, can’t wait!”  Check out David’s recent video he did for Enough Threads to know David rips it hard.

We wish both Tánh and David a speedy recovery and hope to see them both shredding as soon as they are healthy to get the radness flowing.
In other injury news, Kim Bloodson cracked a finger nail yesterday, when asked if he is still able to ride he responded with “yeah I got a note from mum saying it was ok”
