Round 5 of the Freestyle Now Western Australian Skatepark Series went down at the South Hedland skatepark. The South Hedland skatepark is one of the biggest in Australia. It is massive with lines galore and sections that are so rad. Sometimes it can be like a video game and after riding it for some time you unlock new lines. Like they just magically appear in front of you. There was a good turnout of competitors for the skatepark competition. Freestyle Now were in Port Hedland for a few days before the skatepark competition to host a few skatepark coaching workshops, it’s always great to help with generation more skills to the skatepark users. Congratulation to Jacob Wise for competing in all three disciplines, scooter bmx and skate. We would also like to thank our supporters, Local BMXColony bmxSacrifice scootersEthereal Clothing and 4 skateboard Co as well as Town of Port Hedland.
The next skatepark competition will be Round 11 Freestyle Now Western Australian Skatepark Series held at the Margaret River skatepark on the 28th May, hope to see you there.
