Freestyle Now made a memorable debut at Bibra Lake Skatepark, with the final round before the series finals of the South Metro Ride and Roll Skatepark Series. The fantastic turnout across all divisions brought an electrifying atmosphere to the park, showcasing the immense talent and passion of participants. This event marked the first-ever competition hosted by Freestyle Now at Bibra Lake, and it did not disappoint.

Adam Puffler who secured 1st place in the open category, Adam is really setting the bar for the scooter scene in Perth and we can’t wait to see what the future holds for this rider.

The scooter competitions were particularly intense, with fierce battles and standout performances. In the Scooter 10-13 Years division, Ben Measey (Bean) took the top spot, followed by Calvin Treml and Kirill Ashchepkov. The Scooter 14-17 Years division saw an epic showdown between Josh Schnierer and Hayden Brewer, with Josh ultimately taking first place. In the Scooter Open category, Adam Puffler secured the win, with Ian Tsuzuki Botta and Jasen Rhodes rounding out the top three.

Skateboarders brought their A-game to the competition as well. Henrii Bennell claimed victory in the Skateboard 10-13 Years category, while Miles Harding, a local Bibra Lake skater, dominated the Skateboard 14-17 Years division. The Skateboard Open saw Adam Pacynko take first place, followed by Ethan Mippy and Ashley Mippy.

The BMX divisions were no less thrilling, with young riders showcasing impressive skills. Jayce Blakers triumphed in the BMX 10-13 Years category, followed by Jaxon Baker and Dexter Pearce. Oskar Thomas took first place in the BMX 14-17 Years division. In the BMX Open, Kody Strong emerged victorious, with Joshua O’Neil and Ian Tsuzuki Botta close behind.

Special recognition goes to Tayah Payne, who stepped up into the older class and competed fiercely, Tayah had already qualified for the finals and decided to compete in the older category for a challenge. The entire event was a testament to the dedication and passion of all the riders, regardless of age or discipline.
