You’re going to start seeing this logo at our events and on our socials and we want to explain why. Here at Freestyle Now, we have chosen to partner with RightByYou. Rightbyyou.org.au is a mental health resource for friends of young people at risk. This campaign sits close to our hearts, and I’m sure many of you relate when we say we use skating and riding to clear our minds and aid our own mental health. We feel this partnership is important as we can be a bridge between the mental health resource and the action sports community. The initiative aligns with our values of healthy minds and healthy bodies, accessing help for yourself or a friend could keep you and your community riding for longer.
The website provides key information and resources regarding how to safely engage and support a peer experiencing a mental health crisis online.
