After the sk8 ‘n’ blues took place on Saturday in Bridgetown it was off to Katanning for a comp at the skatepark. Katanning skatepark is only a small park but it is good fun. The competition was a small one but the locals came out to have a blast and try out their skill against each other. It was great to see some of the younger riders stepping it up and progressing really well.

Again the bmx had the biggest signups. The two local’s bmxers Hayden McGrath and Dylan McAndrews tied for the 1st place so a battle round was called between them. Hayden just did not have the same solid runs as Dylan had and Dylan was given the win.

Callum McCawley was fresh from his win the day before at Bridgetown but all that money in his pocket must have been weighing him down as Matt Reilly took the win from Callum on this day.
