Coolgardie celebrations day

The mother of the Western Australian goldfields, Coolgardie is about 600 kilometers east from Perth. The morning of this year’s Coolgardie day started off as a pleasant morning with the sun shining and clear skies. At about 6am in the morning a storm front hit Perth and only took the 6 hours to travel to Coolgardie. During the morning the wind started to pick up and then right at about the same time the competition got started mother nature unleashed its built up fury on to the goldfields. With cyclonic winds and powering rain the competition was called off part way through. Competitors still took home some prizes with some part of the comp being run. Mad props to all those who made it to the comp and had some good times rollin.

Zac Buchanan fastplanting before the rains came and made the place a washout.
