Kalgoorlie skatepark competition – Round 12 Freestyle Now Western Australian Skatepark Series

There is a new park in Western Australia and it is without a doubt the raddest, situated some 600kms east from Perth in Kalgoorlie. The skatepark now consist of the old park which is about 10 years old along with now the new street plaza and the most amazing bowl that many have ridden. The skatepark is now huge with endless lines and abilities.
The City of Kalgoorlie Boulder has most defiantly done everything right with the planning and construction. Finally a skatepark in Western Australia to match most of the skateparks on the east coast of Australia.  
Round 12 of the Freestyle Now Western Australian Skatepark Series took place at the Kalgoorlie skatepark as part of the opening celebrations. It was great to have the Mayor of the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder, Ron Yuryevich, make the official open speech.
The competition was great with Kalgoorlie breeding many gnarly shredders. Big thanks to the Kalgoorlie Boulder youth council for working the day. Condemned bikes for giving away a Poorman frame to Tyrone Drummond for winning the bmx beginners class,  and to our supporters for helping with the prize product, Stowaway distribution, Sacrifice scooters and 4 skateboard Co.
