Date of Birth – July 2004

Started riding roller skates – December 2019

Main type of skating? – I’d say I specialize in park roller skating, specifically stalls and mini ramps.

How did you get into skating? – I used to roller skate when I was a tiny human but in 2019 my best friend invited me to go to the roller rink with her and I instantly wanted my own roller skates. I got my first pair of roller skates for Christmas and took them to my local skatepark. I had no idea what I was doing but after going down my first ramp I loved roller skating and knew I wanted to keep skating!

What were your first roller skates? – My first roller skates were the coral pink Impala skates with mismatched laces because I was cool.

Who has influenced you the most in rollerskating? – My best friend Grace, Sasha Berg and Ribletrollfriday.

What can you remember most about your first competition or demo? – Oh my I was so nervous but so pumped! My first roller skate competition was the first competition Freestyle Now held involving roller skates and I was so excited to be involved in showcasing roller skates, I had a lot of fun and surprised myself by getting second place in the opens!!

Five things that matter most to you in no order – My dog Emi, my friends and family (including my skate family), my roller skates, my favourite teddy (it’s a tiger), and my favourite jacket that may have a few holes in it.

Five things that you dislike the most – Spiders, brussel sprouts, people who don’t care about the planet, wet socks and leaves on the floor that don’t crunch when you step on them.

Do you like skating in shows or competitions – I love both but I think I like skating in shows more because the atmosphere is always amazing and I get to show what roller skates can do, share my love for skating and hopefully inspire some viewers.

What do you do in your spare time? – Whenever I have spare time I go to the skatepark for a skate but if i’m not there, i’m with my friends or with my dog.

To you what is beautiful? – Those moments when you laugh so much it hurts or you can’t stop smiling at something, dogs and tigers, the stars and moon, when the leaves change colour, I could keep going for a while.

Why do you roller skate? – When I roller skate I put aside everything that has been happening and just skate. Skating has always been an outlet for me to be creative and be in the moment.

What has been your worst injury? – Luckily I haven’t broken any bones yet (touch wood) but I have a permanent bruise on my lower hip from taking skin off when I attempted a 180 gap down some stairs.

Favourite skating spot? – I can’t decide on one spot, I have A LOT of favourite skate spots.

Favourite Music – When I’m skating I listen to a lot of phonk and ‘pump-up’ music but I love Indie-rock and indie-pop.

If you were given a special pencil what would you do with it? – I would put it in a jar, do tests on it and try to figure out why it’s special.
