Started riding scooter – 2015
Main type of riding – Hybrid
How did you get into riding? – My cousin and his friends started riding before I did, told me I had a great local and should come down some time. So I grabbed my JD bug foldable scooter and headed down.
What was your first scooter? – First proper scooter was a 2015 Envy Colt
Who has influenced you the most in riding? – I don’t know if any single person has influenced me more than others, I’ve always admired Jared Adelson’s resilience, Nice Tedrick and Richard Zelinkas trick base, and people like Tommy Dang and Raymond Warner for their engagement with other riders.
What can you remember most about your first competition or demo? – First competition I entered was a Freestyle Now competition at Willetton in 2016. Went to do a Nothing out of a quarter and the scooter landed and bounced back to me before I caught it. Got a lot of hype from the judges and crowd.
Five things that matter most to you in no order – Finding humor in life, having a good set of Friends, Family, setting goals, and Health.
Five things that you dislike the most – Injuries, rainy days, too much social media, rusty coping with no wax, negative mindsets.
Do you like riding in shows or competitions – I prefer the atmosphere of Competitions with the friendly banter that gets thrown around.
What do you do in your spare time? – If the weather is good I’ll be out riding or out with friends. But it’s it’s not so good, I’ll be inside watching movies or playing computer games.
To you what is beautiful? – Real Passion towards something
Why do you ride? – Fitness, stress relief, for my own progression, and a bunch of other reasons.
What has been your worst injury? – Breaking both bones in my right forearm looked the coolest but tearing all the ligaments in my right ankle was more painful.
Favourite riding spot? – I’ll make the most of any park I’m at especially if I’m with the right group. Anywhere with a good range of obstacles.
Favourite Music – I listen to a lot of everything, but Alternative Rock is always good.
If you were given a special pencil what would you do with it? – Design skateparks
