Congratulations to Lucas Suradi who has won the Sydney seek and win competition. Lucas followed the clues and checked the image that had been posted on the Freestyle Now web site and went out there and did some seeking and as a result he also did some winning. In keeping with the competition criteria Lucas found the location and did a trick over on or with the rail. And winning he has done. Thanks to Freestyle Now and Backbone bmx Lucas has $400 to spend at Backbone bmx which he is super stoked on. As well Lucas has also won thanks to FBM a set of Nice forks and FBM t-shirt. Mad props go out to the Backbone and Stowaway crew for getting behind such a unique competition.

This is what Lucas had to say about the seek and win competition,

I was quite skeptical that the spot was in Mosman, as the first clue pointed in that direction. So after desperately searching around Taronga zoo and Balmoral Skatepark and around Mosman for about two hours on Friday, I had to call it once it starting raining. After reading the third clue on the Backbone bmx web site I simply goggled “orange burnt Mosman”, and bobs your uncle ‘Burnt Orange café Mosman”. Absolutely convinced we jumped in the car, drove to the address, there it was. We then took a few photos quickly and left. In the car I pressed around on my mum’s phone and here is the message. The competition was real fun and the clues were easy enough to understand, but the riddles to them were pretty good and added extra interpretations to them. Super pumped for some Backbone cash and new forks from FBM.

The main objective for the seek and win competition is to get riders out and seeking new spots and making the experience an adventure. Lucas did not have a hi res image to send in or was not able to bunny hop high enough to attack the rail, but all of this is not important. What is important is the actual act of riding bmx.

This is the image of the location in full. Located in Mosman on Middle head road, opposite the HMAS Penguin military base and right next to the Burnt Orange Café.

Again congratulations to Lucas and keep a look out for more seek and win competitions coming up in other capital cities around Australia. Melbourne or Canberra you may be next.
