WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER

Freestyle now received an email at 4pm on the 16th September that simply said – Kyle Jacobson – Barspin off ledge, Haggan Dillewaard – Photographer. The attached photo captured the evidence to show the winner of the seek and win competition.

The Brisbane seek and win competition offered the chance for riders to get out and seek out new locations and win prizes thanks to Freestyle Now ,Backbone Bmx and Tempered Bikes. As the evidence of the location found was received at the start of week three Kyle and Haggan will be able to share in $300 to spend at Backbone Bmx as well as a set of bars and a seat from Tempered Bikes.

Haggan Dillewaard sent in the photo of Kyle Jacobson and offered a few words about the competition.

Well Jindalee is our local and when I got to the skate park today Kyle was like “hey dude there is this comp on the net to win some stuff from backbone and Tempered Bikes. All we have to do is find this spot and for you to shoot me doing something on it.”  It sounded like a pretty sweet deal to me So then he showed me a picture of the spot and something clicked. I live in Corinda so I ride down 17 miles rocks road to get the Jindalee like twice a week, little to my knowing I ride past it every time! At first I thought it was in the rocks riverside park but he had been there already with some other riders and they spent a lot of time looking for the spot. So we went there again and couldn’t find it. I told him that there’s only one other place that has those ledges ut I wasn’t sure so I said I’d just suss it out on the ride home. Well he came along and Bob’s your uncle we found it. As we were leaving though some other riders turned up and had a camera and stuff so we cranked it back to mine and I spent 5 minutes yelling at people for the camera cables and such to get the photo sent in as soon as I could. This comp was a lot of fun as it was the first time I’d won anything in my life it also was an awesome idea and would defs do it again.

Thanks Freestyle Now Backbone Bmx and Tempered Bikes

Well Haggan is was just as well as the series of events unfolded for you the way they did and you sent in the photo evidence, because at 6:25pm (2 hours 25 minutes after yours) we received an email from Theran Franke with a photo attachment, same trick of the same ledge. Sorry to say Theran you were too late to be the winner. Props though for getting out there and seeking out the location.

The Brisbane seek and win location uncovered.

Freestyle Now would like to thank Backbone Bmx and Tempered Bikes for the support with the competition as well as all the riders who got off their arses and did something awesome. The seek and win competitions are all about that, getting riders out there seeking out new locations or at least thinking about new location. Remember every spot has some potential for some radness.
