Since 2011, the Action Sports Games has been the pinnacle event for Western Australian action sports enthusiasts, and Mandurah sets the perfect stage with its picturesque beaches, stunning inland waterways, and an epic skatepark primed for intense competition. The 2024 Mandurah Action Sports Games are set to take place from the 15th to the 17th of March at Hall Park on the Mandurah Western Foreshore, promising an unforgettable experience for all attendees. This action-packed weekend will feature wakeboarding, freestyle motocross, and the major highlight the skatepark competition including rollerskates, inline, skateboard, scooter, and BMX, with over $5000 in prize money and rewards up for grabs. The weekend offers something for everyone passionate about extreme sports.

Competition Schedule: 

  • Friday 15th March – Rollerskate and Inline – Small bowl competition
    • Check in and warm ups – 6:30pm – 7:00pm / Competition – 7:00pm – 8:30pm
  • Saturday 16th March – Small bowl competition round 1
    • BMX – Check in and warm ups – 9:30am – 10:00am / Competition – 10:00am – 12:30pm
    • Scooter – Check in and warm ups – 12:30pm – 1:00pm / Competition – 1:00pm – 3:30pm
    • Skateboard – Check in and warm ups – 4:00pm – 4:30pm / Competition – 4:30pm – 7:30pm
  • Sunday 17th March – Big bowl competition round 2
    • Scooter – Check in and warm ups – 8:30am – 9:00am / Competition – 9:00am – 11:00am / Presentations –  11:00am
    • Skateboard – Check in and warm ups – 11:30am – 12:00pm / Competition – 12:00pm – 3:00pm / Presentations – 3:00pm – 3:30pm
    • BMX – Check in and warm ups – 4:00pm – 4:30pm / Competition – 4:30pm – 7:00pm / Presentations – 7:30pm – 8:00pm

Competition Format:

  • Rollerskates, inline – Each competitor gets 2 x 1 minute individual runs in the small bowl. Best run counts.
  • Skateboard, scooter, BMX – Each competitor gets 2 x 1 minute individual run on both days. Best run counts from both days. Both best run scores are added to get your final result and to find the Mandurah Action Sports Games champion. Any ties for 1st, 2nd or 3rd is decided by a run off.

  • Rollerskate: Beginner, Open
  • Inline: Open
  • BMX: Beginners, Intermediates, Open ($800 prize money)
  • Scooter: Beginners, Intermediate, Open ($800 prize money)
  • Skateboard: Men’s and Women’s divisions in each category – 9 and under, 12 and under, 16 and under, Open Women’s ($800 prize money), Open Men’s ($800 prize money), and Masters (over 35).
