Freestyle Now welcomes new reserves squad member

It is with great pleasure to announce Billy Brooks is our newest reserves squad member to be added to our awesome list of Freestyle Now squad members. We get requests all the time about riders wanting to be sponsored and how do they go about getting a hook up. Billy is a fine example of how a rider can get a sponsorship and even get on the Freestyle Now squad. Billy was first introduced to Freestyle Now squadron leader Shaun Jarvis through Paul Chamberlain. A specific request for a rider was needed for a T.V. commercial shoot in Sydney and Billy suited the draft, but unfortunately the commercial executives went with a mountain bike rider. Shaun did some video searching and found a stack of videos from Billy all with the right type of vibe. That being a rider out to ride for the pure enjoyment of riding, not hell bent on learning all the latest trick or following trends but setting his own trend and riding to his own style. This is what makes a rider stand out, this is what makes a rider have the right feel for the Freestyle Now squad. Billy grew up riding in his home town of Mudgee in New South Wales and moved to Sydney for a while and was one of the key instigators in the BullMix crew. Billy has now been on some road trips with Freestyle Now, Canberra, Derby, Darwin, and Karratha and has the right attitude for what make a good rider, a rider that is a valuable asset to the Freestyle Now squad. Billy is not only a talented bmx rider but is also creative and productive with videos and will also be added to the new formed media squad, which will be rolling up on line shortly. Welcome to the squad Billy.
