This year once again Freestyle Now headed out into the far reaching interior of Queensland to host a competition at the Mt Isa Mega Day Out. The event was a great success. There was a great turn out of competitors for the BMX, skate and scooter competition in the morning with many more participants turning up in the afternoon to partake in the coaching jam session. It’s great to see so many skate scoot and BMXers all hitting the park up with so much enthusiasm. Freestyle Now also did a few BMX demos before and after the competition. The Mt Isa skatepark has a great layout with something for everyone. There was some great entertainment that took place in the afternoon for the many spectators who were there on the day just to enjoy the festivities. Big thanks to Jean at the Mt Isa civic centre for organizing an awesome day. Thanks to Stowaway distribution, Mutts scooters and 4 skateboard co their support.
