The adventures of Kash Man and T Banger continue again

Kie Ashworth and Tim Rose have both been Freestyle Now squad members for many years. They embrace the true essence of Freestyle Now. Fun times and great bmx riding is their specialty. Tim sent through two photos from some trips he and Kie have been on. The top one is from late 2007 while they were escaping Perth to head to Albany for some demos while the bottom one is from when they escaped Los Angeles on their trip to the east coast of America in late 2009.

Both of the guys are in the same position in both photos, yet the top one Tim is driving and the bottom one Kie is driving. The more things change the more things stay the same.

Be on the lookout for both these guys to be hitting up demos over the new few months.

Kie Ashworth has been traveling around the land of Oz for a few months now and has recently returned to his home town of Perth. Kie is getting ready for an onslaught of Freestyle Now shows coming up as well as another trip over to America to hang out with the guys at FBM. Kie recently had an interview with Steve Crandall from FBM about what’s been rollin lately.

Squad member Kie Ashworth has been living it up over in Adelaide for a just over a month and hanging out with the Stowaway crew riding every day and clocking footage for FBM.

Fellow squad member Tim Rose just recently headed over to Adelaide to hang out with Kie, ride some trails and in general have a FN good time.

Thanks to Kane at stowaway for sending over some pics of Kie and Tim doing what comes natural to them both – riding awesome.

Both Kie and Tim will be travelling out to the Leonora Golden Gift next weekend for some Freestyle Now demos.

In other Kie news he will be returning briefly to Western Australia to road trip it to Leonora for the golden gift demos coming up in a few weeks.

The Kashman – road ripper

Squad member Kie Ashworth has begun a trip of a hefty proportion, driving from Perth to an undisclosed destination in the far east coast of oz land.

His first arrival destination was Streaky bay in South Australia to catch up with Jamie from stowaway distribution for some surfing action.In the words the Kashman himself “ the drive was good and long, weather was pretty sweet it held off for the major of the drive, I camped while on the Nullarbor, couldn’t help but feel a presence of the wolf creek saga. We camped at streaky bay, surfed good surf each day and hung out with no phone reception…”

Last show of the decade

The Freestyle Now bmx stunt squat were out in full force for the last time this decade at the Williams trotting club race meet. Some mid race entertainment was required so the squad was on hand to throw down their specialist skills and keep the crowds entertained. The day was hot, really hot and the spectators were keeping to the shade. The trotting race meet was small but exciting. Being in the infield and that close to the horses racing at such a speed was awesome.

Victoria Park Christmas Street Mall

On Sunday arvo the Freestyle now bmx stunt squad were at the Victoria Park Christmas Street Mall to throw down some awesome riding and to mix it up with the festive celebrators. The crowds really enjoyed the shows with a stack of people coming up and giving the squad members props for banging out some awesome tricks.

Gidgegannup agricultural show

The 63rd Gidgegannup agricultural show saw some awesome riding go down from the Freestyle Now squad. Kie Ashworth, Tim Rose, Dylan Schmidt and Shaun Jarvis turned out the tricks for the massive crowd who were going off with every trick thrown. David Pinelli also arrived during the day and busted out some Dave goodness. It’s always a treat to see his way bombed dip 360’s. Thanks to local rider Justin for helping out with some photo snaps and for chillin out for the day. A good day was had by all indeed

Kie Ashworth sent this pic in and a few words to share with all.

“Hey all. Had a nasty little stack getting ready for the Westdale rock this coming weekend. Me and Tim were packing lips and getting the jumps sported. I jumped and kO’d myself for 5-10 mins according into Tim, bleeding from the nose and gargling bubbles of spit, broke nose and tore my lip.
Not to nice. Hope you’re all well”
