Freestyle Now was commissioned to manage the competition. With 55 competitors to get through in an afternoon the pressure was not only on the competitors but also on the time to have it all finished up by sundown. There were three divisions to run through being Beginners, Intermediate and Pro. With some big names in the Pro class coming out a lot of the younger riders were out for autographs. Perth Pro riders Billy Watts, Kyle Page and  Ben Thomas mixed it up with Victorian riders Brenton Tayler, Tommy Dang, Matty Cevavolo, Mick Nuangput and Max Peters. The winner of the Pro class would have a placing in the world titles taking place in England in late October.
