Behind the Bars – Show 6

twitterlinkedinmail

It’s that time of the month again for another episode of “Behind the Bars” to be released. In 2001 squad members Shaun Jarvis and Jason Parker  produced a T.V. show called “Behind the Bars”. It was broadcast on community television in Perth Western Australia and it focused on the BMX scene in Perth. With no video production skills the two guys just went at it, they knew what they wanted to achieve and set about doing just that. This is a good example that you can do whatever you want as long as you put your mind to it. There is nothing holding you back, only you. the only experience these guys has was what they created. With only that experience to guide them in production the two guys set out to get another show set and done, show 6. So after 10 years it’s now time to unleash the final show in the series via the internet. There are still three more shows to be published on the net so stayed tuned for them over the next few months. You can check out the “Behind the Bars” page here to see all the episodes. Enjoy.

Jason goes for broke

twitterlinkedinmail

Long time squad member Jason Parker is about to embark on an American riding trip and hanging out with friend Todd Meyn. Only one problem, not much riding will be getting done.

Two days ago Jason was riding Todd Meyn’s foam pit, but a slight misjudgment in speed resulted in Jason not making the jump properly.  Without being that 100% committed Jason’s bike went into the foam while Jason went back into the ramp. Snap went his wrist. Jason hasn’t had any plaster for about 7 years so that not bad going. Freestyle Now wishes Jason a speedy recovery while he in America.

Jason busting out a Decade on top of Mt Nameless while the Tom Price town works in the background.
