Freestyle Now

Round 3 of the Freestyle Now Western Australian Skatepark Series went down at the Collie skatepark situated about 200 kms south of Perth. There was a good turnout of competitors and spectators for the skatepark competition. Some competitors made the track from Perth to attend, which is good as they are making the effort to follow the series and venture out to new locations. The biggest class was the intermediate scooter class with saw only 5 points between 1^st and 5^th, it was a tight competition for sure. At all of the Freestyle Now skatepark competitions there are three classes for competitors to enter, beginners (younger and still learning), intermediates (competitors with some good skills) and the open class (consistent and dials tricks) in the three disciplines scooter, skateboard and bmx. A big thank you to all the competitors who rolled out the rad at the Collie skatepark competition. We would also like to thank our supporters, Local BMX, Colony bmx, Sacrifice scooters, Ethereal Clothing and 4 skateboard Co as well as Shire of Collie.
The next skatepark competition will be  Round 4 Freestyle Now Western Australian Skatepark Series held at the  Pinjarra  skatepark, Pinjarra, Western Australia on the 2nd of April, hope to see you there.

Clockwise from top left – Jiordan Giacoppo took out the win in open scooter with dialled and almost flawless runs, flair barspin in the bowl – Jack Forman is one rad dude. 1^st place in skate intermediate, big boneless in the bowl from the young ripper. Hope to see more of him at the skatepark competitions – Collie local shredder Richard Mippy took out the 1^st place in the scooter intermediate, he was so stoked. Warren Bowers grew up in Collie and returned to ride the competiton and do flairs on the spine to take the 1^st place in open bmx.

Round 2 of the Freestyle Now Western Australian Skatepark Series went down at the Butler skatepark. The northern suburbs skatepark saw some rad action taking place between the competitors with real close competition in the intermediate scooter class with points being very tight between all the competitors. At all of the Freestyle Now skatepark competitions there are three classes for competitors to enter, beginners (younger and still learning), intermediates (competitors with some good skills) and the open class (consistent and dials tricks) in the three disciplines scooter, skateboard and bmx. A big thank you to all the competitors who rolled out the rad at the Butler skatepark competition. We would also like to thank our supporters, Local BMX, Colony bmx, Sacrifice scooters, Ethereal Clothing and 4 skateboard Co as well as City of Wanneroo and their great youth team.
