Squad member Shaun Jarvis heading to Launceston for the February 19th to compete in the Newcircle DownUnderGround national flatland contest series. The contest is set in a small sea side town of Bridport just outside of Launceston. This is round one of a three round series with two and three taking place in Sydney and Melbourne respectively. Last year Shaun took out the year end title in the middies class. This year he will be competing in the advanced class so expect some fresh progression popping up over the year.
The next day 20th February will be the BMX FOR FLOODS Australia wide jam. This is a first for Australia as there are 9 locations all set to partake in the jams which will be raising money for the premier’s disaster relief appeal. Shaun has been super busy getting these jams organized along with a list great people helping out on the day right around Australia. There is a never ending supply of product on offer that will be auctioned or raffled off. 100% of the donations will be going to the premier’s disaster relief appeal to help the people of Queensland who have been affected by the recent floods and storm damage. Shaun will be heading up the jam in Launceston.
From there he will having a short stay in Melbourne before heading to Canberra to compete in the bmx games. Squad member Dylan Schmidt will be joining Shaun in Canberra as well for the competition. Check it here to get more info on the bmx games.
