Recently Freestyle Now travelled to the Pilbara in the North West of Australia for a series of skatepark activation sessions. The towns of Tom Price, Panawonica, Onslow and Paraburdoo were all on the list for the skatepark coaching jam sessions. Freestyle Now squad members Shaun Jarvis and Dylan Reese invited Oben McHoull along for the ride. Over the course of the few days Shaun, Dylan and Oben clocked some clips at the skateparks. Fun times and radness was had by all. Lots of skills were gained from the skatepark participants but more importantly everyone’s confidence was increased. Confidence is the most important factor when it comes to skatepark activity. The more confidence a participant has the more skills they will learn. At each skatepark location Freestyle Now set up small challenges and played some fun games for the participants to win prizes, lots of give a ways were had.
