Freestyle Now, Australia’s leading action sports entertainment company, recently embarked on an exciting journey to the picturesque town of Batlow in New South Wales. We had the privilege of conducting a skatepark engagement session filled with coaching, fun games, and an exhilarating BMX and scooter stunt show. The event, held in collaboration with Starting Fresh Batlow and Anglicare, was a resounding success that left the community buzzing with excitement. The small skatepark in Batlow became a hub of energy and creativity as Freestyle Now rolled into town with our portable ramps. The session kicked off with our experienced riders, Shaun Jarvis, Cooper Wilson, and Matty Ceravolo, providing coaching to riders of all skill levels. Our talented team shared their expertise, offering guidance and support to help participants progress their skills and build confidence on their skateboards, BMX bikes, and scooters. But the engagement session was not just about coaching; it was a celebration of action sports and community spirit. Fun games and challenges were organized, fostering a lively and inclusive atmosphere. Laughter and cheers filled the air as riders of all ages showcased their tricks and competed in friendly competitions.

The highlight of the day came with the BMX and scooter stunt show on our portable ramps. Spectators were treated to a jaw-dropping display of aerial acrobatics, high-speed maneuvers, and gravity-defying tricks. The combination of technical skill, fearless riding, and showmanship left the crowd in awe, inspiring both young and old to embrace the world of action sports. Freestyle Now would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Starting Fresh Batlow and Anglicare for their invaluable support in making this event possible. Their commitment to community engagement and providing opportunities for young people is truly commendable. We are incredibly grateful for the warm reception and enthusiasm shown by the Batlow community. Australian’s Got Talent – Freestyle Now stunt show

twitterlinkedinmail

Freestyle Now took to the Australian’s Got Talent stage with pure raw freestyle energy.

Freestyle Now got to perform a stunt shows for Australia’s Got Talent auditions. We assembled a rad crew consisting of Freestyle Now squad members Shaun Jarvis and Luke Tooze along with Gonzalo Bellanti, Chris James, Matty Ceravolo, Zeth Bennett and Nathan Philps. The crew hit the AGT stage with pure raw freestyle energy. Filming of the show took place in Sydney at the end of June 2022 and unfortunately, we did not make it to the next round. There were many challenges around the set up on stage, difficult blind run up, challenging run off and a full change to the performance routine due to having to make the jump smaller, which was a challenge in itself to work that one out. We managed to run through the show routine only twice. Once on the set up outside which was perfect conditions and once on stage. Had we had more stage rehearsal time then who knows our performance might have been tighter. We rolled out the rad and made people stoked and motivated, we fulfilled what has been our main goal for the last 35 years. Big thanks to AGT for getting us on the show, we all had a blast. The on-air audition was cut up a bit and did not show the entire 8 minutes, but what was shown we are stoked on. Thanks to the team of performers we had, you all are rad.

Be sure to check out our performance which aired on Channel 7

Dylan Schmidt flips no handed at the National 4×4 outdoors show in Sydney

Freestyle Now headed to Sydney to perform BMX stunt shows at the National 4×4 outdoors show held at the Sydney showgrounds. We were set up in a perfect location, right next to the main entry gate. Over the three days there was great attendance at the National 4×4 outdoors show and the Freestyle Now BMX stunt shows were a massive highlight. Freestyle Now squad members Shaun Jarvis and Luke Tooze were joined by Western Australian show veteran Dylan Schmidt and Sydney radster Josh Eaton. The shows were super rad with Sunday shows being the best as there were larger crowds attending and giving their energy back in a large way. Friday and Saturday were plagued by wet weather but Freestyle Now with the level of professionalism navigated the wet and still performed most of the scheduled shows. As normal the Freestyle Now BMX stunt shows were super awesome with some great BMX stunt show performances. Lots of posters were signed and handed out to many spectators which brought even more smiles on faces.
