The crowds were large at the Benalla Flamefest and got super loud especially for this backflip by Cooper Wilson.

Freestyle Now, Australia’s premier BMX stunt show team, brought the heat to Flamefest in Benalla, Victoria, with an unforgettable  BMX stunt show that defied the wet and muddy conditions. The event featured a stellar lineup of BMX riders, including the remarkable  Shaun Jarvis, the reigning Victorian BMX freestyle champion Cooper Wilson, Columbian BMX sensation Robin Meza, and the legendary Andrew Ahumada. In the days leading up to Flamefest there was lots of rain which made the ground conditions at the Benalla racing track very soft and muddy.  But despite the challenging conditions Freestyle Now’s BMX riders were determined to deliver an electrifying performance. With muddy ramps and no rain but wet grounds, the stage was set for a unique and thrilling show that would leave the crowd in awe.

Shaun Jarvis, known for his precision and style, led the charge, performing some  crazy balancing trick on the top of the ramp. One slip would result in a long drop to the ground, with slippery surfaces the level of danger was intensified. Cooper Wilson, the reigning champion, showcased his exceptional riding skills and fearlessness in the face of adversity, even collecting some mud in his eye that flung off his front wheel in the mid air. Columbian BMX rider Robin Meza added an international flair to the show with his unique style, and BMX legend Andrew Ahumada demonstrated his unmatched expertise in challenging conditions. The enthusiastic crowd at Flamefest braved the muddy and cold conditions to witness the heart-pounding performance. Their energy and excitement were noticeable, providing the perfect backdrop for the riders to push their limits and wow the audience with their daring feats. In addition to the BMX stunt show, Flamefest also featured a captivating fire show that added to the overall spectacle of the event along with some great food trucks. The combination of fire and BMX stunts created a sensory experience that left a lasting impression on all who attended.
