The Adventures of Kash man

twitterlinkedinmail

Squad member Kie Ashworth is back over in Adelaide and is kicking it hard. While he is preparing to head out on the road the Animal team for an east coast ripper tour he has been finding new life and adventures within the city of Adelaide. Here is what he had to say.

Back riding every day with Jamie and various Adelaide guys. Life’s sweet here, I feel good about everything at the moment! Have been super focused on riding. Hands are freshly caliced from riding so much this weekend. So far so good!  Been getting into taking photos again, has gotten me so super happy. Here are a couple photos from today’s session. Dave Rubinich took a real nice superman seat as well.  Working on a new web edit. Super siked for it and real positive to work hard on it. The Stowaway crew are shocked on the condition of my bike so I’ve got a complete new build from the ground up. Awesome! New frame has been sent from FBM and hopefully be here by no later than this Friday as that’s when I leave for the Animal trip. That should be good hanging with them dudes and traveling from Sydney down to Melbourne through Canberra for a week.  Anyway just wanted to say I’m super stoked on some great progression that Adelaide is going to give me.

Dumbleyoug Bluebird festival

twitterlinkedinmail

On the 6th of November the Freestyle Now stunt squad along with invited rider Laurence Bakewell headed out to the Dumbleyoug Bluebird festival to hit up some show performances and coaching workshops. The bluebird festival takes its name from the famous Bluebird boat that Donald Campbell set the water speed record in. Lake Dumbleyoug when it is not dry has the largest body of inland water in southern W.A. covering an area of about 84kms2

The Bluebird festival is a great community event with many surrounding areas and towns contributing to make this event a highlight of the calendar year for many.
