Perth Royal show day 3 and 4

Freestyle Now is rolling out the radness at the 2012 Perth Royal Show. The crowds have been really loud during the two shows. One show at lunchtime and a large show at night. Below are some of the photos from day 3 and 4.

Perth Royal Show day 1 and 2

Freestyle Now is hitting it hard at the Perth Royal Show with two shows a day, lunch time and night time. With a small lunch time set up of just one ramp and 6 riders to the night time show with 3 ramps and 15 riders. Freestyle Now has teamed up with team FMX to throw down both bmx and fmx all combined into one show. The crowds have been getting really loud every day for the shows.

2012 IGA Perth Royal Show

The Freestyle Now bmx stunt squad will once again be hitting up the 2012 IGA Perth Royal Show. For 8 days the Freestyle Now bmx stunt squad will entertain the masses with two shows, one at lunch time stunt show and one night time show which can only be described as complete chaos as there is an all out assault of the night sky when 15 riders hit the 3 jump ramps all on the main arena. All of this takes place while team FMX hit the skies with some crazy moto bike action.
Freestyle Now squad member Dylan Schmidt recently caught up with some of the Perth Royal Show promotional crew for a short interview. Be on the lookout for a TV advert coming soon.

Exhibition Wednesday Race Day

Freestyle Now recently attended the Exhibition Wednesday race day held at the Eagle Farm race course in Brisbane to throw down some seriously rad halfpipe shows. It is a public holiday on the Wednesday in Brisbane due to the Ekka (Brisbane show) so why not dress up and head to the races. With about 20000 people attending the Eagle Farm race day there was plenty of people to witness the halfpipe demos that Freestyle Now was hitting up along with music acts Ruby Rose and headliners Bombs Away. Freestyle Now squad members Shaun Jarvis and David Pinelli headed over to Brisbane for the halfpipe shows and invited skaters Pedro Day and Anthony Bull and bmxers Chris Courtenay and Chance Brejnakowski to come along to shred the ramp, get rad and have a blast. Exhibition Wednesday Raceday

Tomorrow Freestyle Now will be smashing ut some radness for the masses at Eagle Farm race course as part of the Bundaberg Five Exhibition Wednesday Races. Being a public holiday in Brisbane there will be plenty of people ready to attend, not only to see some bmx and skateboard action, or to have a punt on the horses but also to get their groove watching Tenzin, Ruby Rose & Bombs Away on the main stage. More information here at the Exhibition Wednesday raceday web site.

Freestyle Now in Mount Isa

In July 2012 Freestyle Now squad members Shaun Jarvis, David Pinelli and Billy Brooks went to Mount Isa in Queensland for the Mega Day Out event to host a skatepark competition, some coaching sessions and a few bmx demos. Our newest squad member Billy Brooks put together this rad video of their time in Mount Isa. Enjoy

Toodyay International food festival

The Freestyle Now bmx stunt squad recently were at the Toodyay International food festival. Kristie Jolly was there on the day not only as one of the main organizers of the day but also to take photos of all the action that took place during the day. Toodyay International food festival

On Saturday 4th August with dark clouds in the sky the Freestyle Now bmx stunt squad hit up the Toodyay International Food Festival to entertain the masses with some bmx stunt shows. The weather was most unfavorable as the clouds had unleashed some rain in the early morning and there was rain forecast for the late afternoon. With a slight delay for the first show due to a bit of a rain shower during set up Freestyle Now squad members  David Pinelli, Dylan Schmidt, Shaun Jarvis and Tim Rose  proceeded to do what they do best, put on an entertaining bmx stunt show. At the commencement of the fourth show the clouds decided to let the rain go. All in all it was a good rad day, with the squad doing a few small coaching sessions at the new Toodyay skatepark in between shows.

Toodyay International food festival

This Saturday the 4th of August the Freestyle Now bmx stunt squad will be in Toodyay as part of the Toodyay International food festival. Freestyle Now squad members David Pinelli, Dylan Schmidt, Shaun Jarvis and Tim Rose will be there on the day to throw down some awesome bmx stunt shows on the Freestyle Now portable jump box. The stunt shows take place next to the new Toodyay skatepark and there will be some skatepark coaching sessions taking place over the day as well. There is plenty of other entertainment and activities at the festival for many to enjoy as well as the tasting of many foods and international cuisine. No doubt it will be a fantastic day for all to attend, see you there.

Freestyle Now up north

In early May Freestyle Now went on a 10 day trip through the northwest of Australia with riders Dylan Schmidt, Shaun Jarvis, Laurence Bakewell and Billy Brooks. Our first stop was Port Hedland for a skatepark coaching session followed by some bmx stunt shows the next day at the Port Bound festival. From there with Laurence traveling back to Perth it was onward to Derby via Broome for another skatepark coaching session. With riding unique spots, sightseeing and general shenanigans the trip was straight up epic. The final destination before returning to Port Hedland to fly home was Eighty Mile Beach to watch a breath taking sunset. The below video tells it all, thanks to Billy. Enjoy.
